Quick Response Code or simply Qr-code is a two dimensional (2D Code)matrix bar-coding system that can store information  and can be read in smart phones by QR reader programmes. With this code any one can get information from a particular QR code by simply taking the photograph of that qr code. The QR reader application in the mobile will convert the information contained in the QR code to  text or links that can be read by humans. Huge quantity of information can be stored in a single  Qr code compared to bar-coding system.   QR code allows direct access to digital content   on your mobile phone by simply taking the photo of this code. The QR Code was invented in Japan by the Toyota subsidiary Denso Wave in 1994 to track vehicles during the manufacturing process, and was originally designed to allow components to be scanned at high speed.
